Morning drive to Suleymaniye Mosque. Take a coffee break at Pierre Loti Hill then visit Fener–Balat districts. After lunch cross the bridge for walking tour of old Taksim. Starting on Istiklal Caddesi we’ll weave through the backstreets dotted with historic buildings, crumbling churches, hip cafes, swanky restaurants and market stalls. Continue to Karakoy and cross the Unkapani Bridge, before arriving at the Egyptian Spice Market for sticky Turkish delight, baklava, dried fruit, nuts. You may prefer to just grab a fresh Simit (bread stick) take a seat and watch the hubbub of activity that surrounds the area before our tour concludes and we return to our hotel.
