Enjoy a day of spectacular South Island scenery as you depart Christchurch this morning, following the shoreline of Lake Pukaki, which is known for its glistening turquoise waters. Arrive at Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, where you will enjoy an Insider Experience. Later, head to Lake Tekapo/Takapō and visit the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Insider Experience – Majestic Aoraki/Mount Cook

Traverse the glorious alpine landscapes of Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park and take in the spectacular surroundings as you pass towering mountains and glacier-fed rivers. Stop to admire breathtaking views of Aoraki/Mount Cook, which is New Zealand’s highest peak.

Travel through Oamaru to the Moeraki Boulders/Kaihinaki, a geological marvel which features unusually large boulders stretched across Koekohe Beach. Continuing south to Dunedin, marvel at the views of majestic mountains and the sweeping tranquillity of fields and farmland along the way.

Enjoy a guided tour of Dunedin, the quirky and historic harbour city set in and around what was once a volcanic crater. One of New Zealand’s first three cities, Dunedin is renowned for its interesting architecture, friendly locals and unique wildlife. It’s also home to the world’s steepest street. Later, head to the picturesque town of Te Anau, which is located on the shore of its beautiful namesake lake.

Travel deep into the incredible Fiordland National Park for a visit to what Rudyard Kipling famously described as the 'eighth wonder of the world', Milford Sound/Piopiotahi. Here, a memorable Insider Experience awaits you. Later, travel to New Zealand’s adventure capital,  beautiful Queenstown. Journey through the beautiful Fiordland National Park on your way to magnificent Milford Sound/Piopiotahi. Once you arrive, set sail on a cruise along the full length of the World Heritage-listed fiord, basking in all the natural wonders you encounter.

Insider Experience - Hāngī Feast

Experience the true warmth and generosity at the heart of Māori culture in Te Puia. Enjoy a Haka pōwhiri (cultural welcome), dance performances and the sharing of a traditional meal of fish, lamb and vegetables slow cooked in earth ovens known as Hāngī.
