    You’ll travel through Egypt with the Nile beside you, its dark water carrying you from Cairo’s pyramids to the rock-cut tombs of Luxor. In the Valley of the Kings, the air cools as you enter chambers carved deep into the stone, where painted walls guard the resting places of pharaohs including Tutankhamun. In Geziret Bahirat, a family welcomes you to their table, where warm bread is passed from hand to hand and stories of local life unfold over the meal. Back in Cairo,you stand beneath the Sphinx as darkness settles, then watch coloured light dance across the pyramids, illuminating stones that have faced the desert for millennia.
