You'll join San Sebastián’s evening tradition of pintxos, tasting small plates at local bars with a cool glass of lightly sparkling Txakoli. Then, you'll follow the Mediterranean to Barcelona, tracing Gaudí’s curling stonework upwards as coloured mosaics flash across the façades. Along Nice’s cafe terraces, you may notice the herbal scent of pastis as glasses touch down on tables, while Florence surrounds you with Renaissance artistry and the legacy of Michelangelo. You stand beneath Pisa’s improbable tilt. In Rome, you taste seasonal ingredients folded through ribbons of handmade pasta, ready for your fork.
