Across nine days, you wander from marble halls and coffee-scented streets to market squares, river bends, castle courtyards and candlelit tables. In Prague, choose between the cool ancient stone of its thousand-year-old castle precincts and the Jewish Quarter’s synagogues and narrow lanes with a Local Specialist. Across Slovakia and the Tatra Mountains, verdant forests and high mountain peaks pass the window before Budapest waits beside the Danube sparkling in the sun. In Buda’s Old Town, you gaze across to Pest from Fisherman’s Bastion, then end at dinner with Hungarian wines and warm, rich dishes under a candlelit glow.
