Dresden follows, where your Local Specialist leads you past the enormous Procession of the Dukes mosaic, Zwinger Palace and the Semper Opera House before you head into Germany’s oldest Christmas market. Here, you wrap your hands around warm Glühwein before tasting Christstollen, a traditional Christmas cake with a recipe dating back to medieval times.
