Carry-on baggage

As a traveller, both adults and children (excluding infants) are typically permitted to bring one bag and one personal item onto their flight. However, this can vary depending on the airline, flight class, and duration of the flight.

Personal items can include items such as a handbag, briefcase, slim laptop in a thin satchel-style bag, overcoat, umbrella, walking stick, a limited quantity of duty-free products, or a small camera.

When it comes to size, the dimensions of carry-on baggage are calculated by summing the length, height, and depth of a bag. For instance, a bag measuring 56cm + 36cm + 23cm equates to a single 115cm bag.

There’s also a cumulative weight limit for the items you bring onto your flight as carry-on.

A variety of carry-on baggage types and sizes can be brought onboard.

For detailed information on allowances and dimensions, it’s necessary to refer the website of the airline you’re flying with.

To verify your baggage allowance, locate the ‘airline reference’ on your itinerary. Then, visit the airline’s website and input these details into the ‘manage your booking’ section to determine the allowance provided by your ticket.
