Zagreb to Split Essentials Deluxe Hotels

Upon arrival at Zagreb airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Zagreb in Hotel Esplanade or similar. 

After breakfast, meet with your local guide for 3 hours walking city tour of Croatian lively capital city full of coffee shops, restaurants and welcoming atmosphere. With a rich history dating back to 1094, Zagreb offers you many places to visit. Don’t miss the "Upper Town," the Cathedral of Mary's Assumption, and the Gothic Church of St. Mark. As charming as the upper town is also the "Lower Town" with its centre on Jelacic square. Entrance fees if any payable locally. Overnight in Zagreb at Hotel Esplanade or similar. (B)

In the morning you will be transferred from Zagreb to Split. On the way to Split stop in NP Plitvice. Join the shared group tour and discover the beauty of this natural wonder protected by UNESCO. The park was established in 1949, which makes it the oldest in Croatia and listed under UNESCO 1979. It covers the area just under 300 square kilometres but its main attraction are the 16 named lakes and the waterfalls created by travertine. The play of sun on the surface of the water, gives the lakes their distinctive colour varying from blue to emerald to green and almost black in the colder months. After the tour you will continue your way to Split. Overnight in Split at Hotel Cornaro or similar.  (B)
