Start the tour with the two wonderful towns in South-eastern Tuscany. You’ll be transported by our driver. Once in Arezzo, enjoy free time to walk through the city on your own. Traditionally known for its gold-smithery, Arezzo is one of the richest cities in the region. Although its Medieval center was largely demolished in WWII. Arezzo is still home to many fascinating churches, monuments and museums. Continuing on to Anghiari, approximately 30 km from Arezzo, Anghiari sits in the Tuscan Valtiberina valley, near the Umbrian border. Celebrated as “one of Italy’s most beautiful villages”, the Italian Touring Club has awarded the village with an Orange Flag award, stating that the town represents a medieval treasure, nestled between the Tiber and the Arno rivers. Journey to San Gimignano, a walled town with captivating architecture and impressive medieval towers. At the peak of its wealth, the aristocratic families in San Gimignano built 72 towering houses as representations of their power and affluence. Whilst only 14 towers remain today, San Gimignano still looks and feels very feudal. Free time to wander the town alone and explore all that San Gimignano has to offer. Then, be escorted by your tour manager to a family-run winery for lunch. Travel to Volterra before returning to the farmhouse for dinner. (B, L, D)

Today, choose between relaxing at the farm or book an extra day tour in Florence or Cortona. If you are interested on visiting museums, churches or any particular place in any city, it is advisable to inform us in advance as they require reservations in advance. This is certainly a day for the wine enthusiasts! The day is completely devoted to wine. Together, explore numerous wineries, cellars and castles and learn about the history behind the famous Chianti wine. During these visits, discover and taste the fine extra virgin olive oil produced in the region. After tasting all the deliciousness Chianti has to offer, move onto Greve, home to the most popular butcher and deli in the whole of Tuscany. This is the perfect opportunity for you to pick up some of the very best in Tuscan produce. Dinner at the farmhouse. (B, D)

Today is all about relaxation, with the opportunity to relax with the locals in one of Tuscany’s most delightful hot springs – Bagni di San Filippo, situated in Val D’Orcia. In the afternoon, it’s time for some wine tasting in Montalcino, a lesson on “Brunello” red wine. Transfer back to the farmhouse in the late afternoon and another authentic Tuscan dinner awaits you. After breakfast, enjoy a tour in Tuscany. Our driver will take you to see the stunning city of Siena, where you will have free time to explore. Siena is Italy’s most beautiful medieval city. In the afternoon, continue to Monteriggioni, which sits between Siena and Colle Val d’Elsa. Return to the farmhouse for the last Tuscan dinner of the tour. (B, D)
