Arrival at Rome Fiumicino airport, transfer to hotel by a private car and check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the Eternal City. Discover the most famous sights of Rome, such as Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Spain Square. In case of an early arrival in Rome, we recommend a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, to admire Michelangelo’s famous Sistine Chapel and other masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance. Dinner at leisure and overnight at Hotel Diana Roof Garden or similar.

After breakfast, another day dedicated to discovering the city. Enjoy a tour of Imperial Rome, to closely admire the monuments of the Roman Forum, enter the Colosseum and listen to our guide’s presentation of the evocative history of ancient Rome and the gladiators’ fights that took place there. The afternoon is at leisure, perhaps join an excursion to visit Rome Catacombs. For the evening, we recommend a nice walk in the Trastevere district, full of local restaurants. Overnight at Hotel Diana Roof Garden or similar. (B)

This morning, take a high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival, meet our driver and proceed to Pompeii where you will enjoy a 2-hour stop to visit the archaeological area (tickets included – guide not included but possibility to add it). This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. Transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town center and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. Overnight Hotel Michelangelo or similar. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will participate in a small group tour (max 20 pax) to Capri, with a visit to the famous Blue Grotto included (weather permitting). Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the beauties of this wonderful island. Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, return to Sorrento by ferry. Once you arrive at the port, return to the hotel independently. Overnight Hotel Michelangelo or similar. (B)

After breakfast, take a private transfer to Naples. Check-in and start exploring the famous capital of the Campania region on your own, a city rich in history, culture and culinary delights. Head to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and admire the Chapel of San Gennaro and the wonderful frescoes. Stroll along Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts through the historic center of the city. Alternatively, stroll through the Galleria Umberto I, an elegant example of 19th-century architecture, and then head to the nearby Piazza del Plebiscito, the largest square in Naples, surrounded by historic buildings such as the Royal Palace and the Basilica of San Francesco of Paola. After dinner at leisure, take a walk along Via Partenope and enjoy the view of the gulf, perhaps stopping for an ice cream or a coffee. Overnight Hotel Palazzo Caracciolo or similar. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and private transfer to the Caserta train station, where you will take the high-speed train to Bari. Private transfer to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. We suggest visiting the Basilica of San Nicola, one of the most important places of worship in Bari. Admire the Apulian Romanesque architecture and the crypt that houses the relics of Saint Nicholas. Afterwards, stroll through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, the historic heart of the city, admiring the women making orecchiette by hand in the narrow streets, the flower-filled balconies and the small artisan shops. Then head towards the seafront and enjoy a walk along Via Nazario Sauro, one of the most beautiful seafronts in Italy. Dinner at leisure and overnight at Grand Hotel Oriente or similar. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and end of the tour. Possibility to book a private transfer to the airport as an additional service, or to continue the journey by joining another tour of ours. (B)
