Pick up from a centrally located hotel in Rome. Pick-up starts at 6:30 am. Departure is at 7:30 am. The adventure begins with a scenic transfer from Rome to Sorrento. Marvel at the stunning landscapes of the Italian countryside and breathtaking views along the coast, where crystal-clear waters meet hills dotted with citrus groves and charming villages. Arrive in Sorrento, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast and enjoy vibrant streets, artisan ceramic workshops, andhistoric churches. After checking in at the hotel, enjoy the afternoon at leisure. In theevening, savour a delicious dinner at the hotel. Overnight at Grand Hotel Vesuvio or similar. (D)

Experience a day devoted not only to exploring Sorrento but also to visiting one of the world’s most iconic archaeological treasures. Enjoy a half-day guided excursion to Pompeii. Accompanied by an expert tour leader, travel to the ancient city where a knowledgeable local guide will lead you on a fascinating walking tour through this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the remarkably preserved ruins of Pompeii, a city frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. With skip-the-line access, personal earphones, and a radio receiver, you’ll enjoy a seamless experience, catching every insight as your guide brings the ancient past vividly to life. Return to Sorrento for an afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Grand Hotel Vesuvio or similar. (B, D)

After breakfast, transfer to port for ferry to Capri Island. Depending on weather conditions, take a boat ride to the popular “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. Continue to the Giardini di Augusto (Gardens of Augustus), a beautifully landscaped terrace offering panoramic views of the iconic Faraglioni rock formations and Marina Piccola Bay, an ideal spot for photos and a relaxing stroll. See wonderful views of the Bay of Naples, with free time for lunch (lunch not included). After lunch, free time to explore Capri at leisure. Check in and overnight at Hotel La Bougainville or similar. (B)

Note: During peak season, visiting the Blue Grotto in Capri may involve long lines and limited capacity. If access is not possible, or the weather conditions do not allow it, our guides will suggest alternative attractions to ensure a satisfying and memorable tour (e.g. Faraglioni rocks).

Step out early to discover the beauty of Capri at your own pace. Explore the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful island or take a swim in the gulf of Naples. If the excursion to the Blue Grotto was not possible on day 3 due to sea conditions, you may choose to take the rowboat excursion today. Overnight at Hotel La Bougainville or similar. (B)

After breakfast, enjoy time at leisure for some last-minute sightseeing or shopping.  Transfer to the port and board a ferry to Naples (approx. 4/4.30pm). Estimated arrival in Rome is around 9pm, where our tour concludes. (B)
