After breakfast, depart for Monreale to visit the magnificent Arab-Norman Cathedral, renowned for its stunning Byzantine mosaics and majestic Cloister. Morning departure for Cefalù, a beautiful medieval coastal village with its Norman Cathedral. Time at leisure to visit the famous Mandralisca Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Catania, located at the foot of Mount Etna, and explore its historic centre, characterised by late Baroque architecture built with lava stone. Visit Piazza Duomo, with the Cathedral and Elephant of lava stone, then continue to University Square and Via dei Crociferi, the heart of Catania’s Baroque district, including the S.
