Make your own way to meeting spot for bus journey to Kalambaka, a small town near the Meteora monasteries. Our English-speaking driver will drive you around Meteora. Discover this picturesque small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks, and crowded by the Meteora Monasteries.
After breakfast the next morning, our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for a tour to visit two or three main monasteries of Meteora. This guided tour will take you back to the time of the first hermits and monks who laid the foundations of what later became the monastic community of Meteora. At the end of the tour, you will transferred back to Kalambaka, with time to stroll around and enjoy a light lunch (not included). Bus trip departing Kalambaka arriving back in Athens.
