After breakfast, visit Um Qais - a ruined Decapolis city with magnificent views of the Sea of Galilee and according to the Bible, the spot where Jesus cast out the Devil from two mad men into a herd of pigs. Continue to Jerash for lunch. Jerash is the site of the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. Take a tour of this unique ancient Greco-Roman city, meander through the colonnaded streets taking in sights such as Hadrian’s Triumphal Arch, Hippodrome, Forum, and Amphitheatre. The Hippodrome once seated 15,000 spectators for chariot races and other sports and is thought to have been built in mid 2nd or 3rd Century AD. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

This morning visit the Desert Castles - number of minor castles and fortresses scattered over the desert in eastern Jordan. See Kharaneh (The Caravanserai), Baths of Amra, and Al Azraq (the Roman defense fortress). Return to Amman for a sightseeing tour of the city. Amman is the capital and largest city of Jordan. It is the country’s political, cultural and commercial centre and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The tour will visit the Citadel and the Amphitheatre, then continue with a panoramic tour of the Souks of Amman and the Mosque of King Abdullah the first. Overnight in Amman. (B, L, D)

Morning tour of St. George’s Church in Madaba, home to the mosaic map of the Holy Land. The Madaba Map is the oldest extant map of the Holy Land and is dated to the middle of the 6th century AD. It was discovered late in the 19th century, during an excavation and reconstruction of a mosaic floor in St George’s Church in Madaba, Jordan. After journey to Mt Nebo, traditionally believed to have been the place where Moses saw the promised land. Proceed to the Dead Sea for lunch and swimming to soak out any ailments, then tour the famous Crusader Castle in Kerak. Drive to Petra for overnight. (B, L, D)

Full day in Petra. View the magnificent Treasury, temples, tombs, houses and the amphitheatre. Lunch served at a restaurant inside the Petra site. In the evening leave Petra for Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon, a unique valley of coloured sand dunes surrounded by beautiful rugged mountains. Wadi Rum has been inhabited by many human cultures since prehistoric times, with many cultures – including the Nabateans – leaving their mark in the form of rock paintings, graffiti, and temples. Overnight at Wadi Rum. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, take a four wheel drive tour of Wadi Rum - the largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscape. Lunch under Bedouin tents. Continue to Aqaba for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Morning free in Aqaba to enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and the Red Sea. After lunch depart to Amman via the spectacular Wadi Araba. Dinner and overnight in Amman. (B, L, D)
