Magnificent Croatia Zagreb to Trogir - Land & Cruise

Transfer from Zagreb Airport to hotel. Dinner with tour group. Overnight at Westin Hotel or similar. (D)

Morning sightseeing tour through the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or perhaps take an optional excursion into the countryside. Overnight in Zagreb. (B)

Head south for a visit to the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by forested mountains and lush vegetation. A walking tour takes us around several of the lower lakes. After our visit continue to drive to Trogir harbor, where embarkation begins at 14:00. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (B, WR, D)

Depart from Trogir early in the morning towards Sibenik with swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch disembark in Sibenik and continue by bus to visit Krka National Park. It’s magnificent waterfalls, including the famous waterfall Skradinski Buk, are one of Croatia’s most famous sights. We come back to Sibenik, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage. Set out on a walking tour of Sibenik historical center and visit one of the most beautiful Renaissance Cathedrals of the Adriatic. Overnight in Sibenik. (B, L)

Leave Sibenik and set sail for Galesnjak, a typical small Dalmatian Island, enjoy a swim stop in one of the secluded bays. Enjoy lunch while we cruise into Zadar port. After arrival, join a walking tour of Zadar historical center and admire the old walls and Port Gate built in 16th century. Visit the Square of the Five Wells, see the Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest Cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia and enjoy wine tasting in one of the local wine bars. If there is a breeze, enjoy the “Sea Organ”, an architectural sound art, which plays music by way of sea waves move into the tubes. Overnight in Zadar. (B, L, T)

Morning departure for Sali, a tourist and fishing town on the island Dugi Otok and the nearest town to the "Telascica" Nature Park and National Park "Kornati". It is mentioned in the 12th century, having received its name from its salt works, and today it is a favorite destination for divers. Sail for the Telascica Nature Park, lunch on board and swim stop followed by the visit to the Nature Park, which, due to its distinct beauty, wealth and importance, along with 6 islets within the bay of Telascica itself, was declared a nature park in 1988. Free time to explore the white cliffs and lakes. In the evening enjoy Captain’s dinner on board and overnight in Telascica Nature Park. (B, L)

Continue towards National Park Kornati, comprised of 89 unforgettable islands, islets and reefs. Kornati National Park is often mentioned as a "nautical paradise” and a rich marine eco system. Afterwards continue to Primosten with a stop along the way for a swim and relax, if weather permits, with lunch on board. Primosten is a small, picturesque town situated between Sibenik and Trogir in the central part of the Adriatic coast and surrounded by seven other islets, a wonderful sight and an exceptional breathtaking place to explore built on a hill and dominated by the parish Church of St. George which was built in 1485. Your evening is at leisure in town. Overnight in Primosten. (B, L)

Sail towards Stari Grad, swim stop and lunch on board. Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe with many friendly and affordable conobas and restaurants. The Stari Grad Plain and the old town center of Stari Grad are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. After disembarking in Stari Grad take the bus to visit the town of Hvar, followed by a tour of the town which will show you many historical sites, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above the town is the impressive Fortress Fortica offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. In the evening, arrival by bus to the boat in Stari Grad. Overnight in Stari Grad. Sail towards Split, swim stop and lunch on board. After docking join a guided tour, visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the basement of the palace filled with market stalls and experience the historic architecture of this beautiful palace. See the remains of Split's Roman heritage. After sail to the UNESCO listed city of Trogir sometimes referred to as a floating museum town as it has a masterful architecture. Free time to explore on your own. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)

Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Split harbour we may sail directly to the port of Trogir. In that case transfer by bus will be organised to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour.

Disembark after breakfast, no later than 9:00 am. Transferred to Split airport. (B)
