Arrive to Amman Airport and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast tour Greco-Roman city of Jerash, founded in 300 BC. Take a tour that visits Hadrian’s Triumphal Arch, the Hippodrome and the Forum. Stroll the impressive colonnaded streets and see the churches, plazas and amphitheatres. On the way back enjoy a shot panoramic tour of the city including Souk, Roman Theatre. Return to hotel for overnight. (B)

After breakfast pick up from hotel and drive towards Madaba where some of the finest art of the early Christian centuries can still be seen, then move on to Mount Nebo, the final station in Moses’ historic flight from Egypt to the Holy Land. Stop at Mt Nebo. Drive to Kerak for a tour of the famous Crusader Castle of Reginald of Chatillon, then continue to Petra for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Enjoy a full day in Petra. Visit ancient city of Petra -city carved out of rock which lies hidden behind a narrow chasm. Walk through the Siq, surrounded by high cliffs approx. 80m high and be amazed by the colours of these rocks. See famous Treasury the massive monument carved out of pink rock in the 1st century believed to be the tomb of one of the Nabataean Kings. Marvel through other sites of Petra carved out of rock, temples, tombs and amphitheatre. Lunch in Petra included. Return to your hotel for free afternoon. Mondays and Thursdays opportunity to join optional Petra by Night tour. (B, L, D)

Leave Petra and head for the magnificent Wadi Rum, a unique valley of coloured sand dunes surrounded by beautiful rugged mountains. Take a 4x4 tour of the valley described by Lawrence of Arabia as vast, echoing and godlike. Enjoy lunch in a Bedouin tent then proceed to Dead Sea for overnight. (B, L, D)
