    Stretching between the cliffs of Levanto and La Spezia, the beautiful area of Cinque Terre is one of the most unspoiled regions of Italy. The five villages appear to cling to the cliffside with little impact on the natural beauty of the landscape and the charm of the fishing villages. It is a place where wine growers still use monorail mechanisms to ferry themselves up and the grapes down these unique lands, and in some cases, harvest by boat. There are many activities to choose from in this area: a dive in the sea, a hike in the hills, a boat trip, a pilgrimage to a religious sanctuary, or indulging in a delicious seafood dinner.
