Lunch today showcases the wild delights of the area. Afterwards, head out to the coast for your first foray with local guides leading the way. Back at the lodge, settle in for a good night’s sleep in preparation for the next day's activities.

You’ll have plenty of time to take in the surrounds at Seal River Heritage Lodge. Start the day off with a gourmet breakfast, inspired by the locally grown and sourced produce surrounding the lodge. Then, a range of awe-inspiring activities are on the table.

Step into the wild on a guided walking adventure, led by your expert guide, where you may be rewarded with some of the most unforgettable sightings of your journey. If explorations in water are more your style, you can join a boat in search of polar bears and beluga whales. Head along the Hudson Bay coast in a custom-made Tundra Tracker buggy. Scope out the wildlife, including foxes and caribou, or seek out over 100 species of birds on various walking tours.

Your nights are celebrated in an authentic fashion, with locally sourced Arctic produce and drinks on the table every night. Some evenings are even clear enough to see the phenomenal aurora borealis. During your time here, you’ll also enjoy lectures with your expert wildlife guides.

If conditions allow, set out on a boat trip to the Seal River Estuary, where thousands of playful beluga whales gather. Watch them glide through the water and listen for their distinctive calls.

Say goodbye to the Arctic landscapes and your lodge. After a final breakfast this morning, fly back to Churchill, where you’ll spend the day with a local guide exploring the town and surrounding area, learning about its rich history as a seaport and ex-military base. Enjoy fascinating stops at the Parks Canada exhibit, the Itsanitaq Museum, and the Polar Bear Jail. Later, you’ll board a flight back to Winnipeg.
