    Some things to note

    Please note:

    • We will spend two nights in Wilpattu National Park on days 3 and 4. The campsite is basic with private ensuite bathroom facilities including shower and flushable toilet. Our tents are pitched in a common campsite and are not permanent; however, they are equipped with camp beds, mattresses, blankets, pillows, towels, a bedside table and lamp. No Air-conditioning facility available however fans are provided. We suggest that you bring a torch along with you to help navigate the campsite at night.
    • Women may need a head scarf to enter some mosques and temples, and wear modest clothing that covers knees and shoulders. Also, a good tip is to pack a spare pair of socks in your daypack, as sometimes shoes need to be removed when entering and the ground can be hot.
    • A strict dress code applies when entering Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil. Men must remove their shirts and wear long pants, women must wear modest clothing that covers knees and shoulders. Taking photographs inside the temple is not permitted.
    • De Saram House will be visited should No. 11 Geoffery Bawa's residence be closed for an official function.

Tours can be booked on tour directly with your Tour Director or guide. We recommend arranging the booking at the beginning of the tour to avoid disappointment. Please note some optional tours may also be available on multiple or alternate days. Prices are a guide only and are subject to change without prior notice.
